Arts & Culture Strategist
Anfal has a background spanning education, arts, and culture, she has contributed to shaping Saudi Arabia’s creative and cultural landscape through projects that bridge knowledge, community, and identity.
Anfal began her career in the education sector, where she developed initiatives aimed at fostering creative learning environments and integrating culture into education. She later joined the Ministry of Culture, where she led several major national projects, including the National Cultural Awards and the Cultural Public Engagement Strategy. Her work focused on enhancing public participation in culture and developing frameworks that empower communities to take part in shaping the national cultural narrative.
Her experience also extends internationally, where she contributed to organizing art exhibitions at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery in New York.
Anfal holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute in New York, a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, and a Certificate in Curation from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Her work brings together research, policy, and creative practice to design strategies that foster dialogue, preserve collective memory, and strengthen cultural sustainability.
Haifa A. AlOwain

Communications & Social Development Advisor
With over a decade of experience across diverse sectors including investment, chemicals, and advertising, she has led communication and development initiatives that bridge corporate purpose with community-driven change.
She most recently served as Media and Communication Director at Tanmiah, the National Program for Community Development in the Regions, where she developed nationwide communication strategies aimed at sustainable social development. Her career also includes roles as Client Servicing Senior Manager at Onsor Mosha, and in Corporate Communications at Sadara Chemicals, where she worked on CSR, digital communication, and corporate culture. Earlier, she worked at Al Muhaidib Group, leading internal and digital communications for the Group and its social foundation. Haifa began her professional journey managing social media at AlJomaih Automotive.
Haifa holds an MSc in Social Development Practice from UCL, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. She also holds professional certifications in Internal Communication from CIPR, as well as in Strategic Communication Planning and Strategic Reputation Management from IABC. In addition, she is an accredited practitioner in Social Value and SROI from the Institute for Social Value.
As part of Kalimat House’s cultural documentation projects, Haifa leads research focused on recording the oral histories of women in the Eastern Province, preserving their stories as part of Saudi Arabia’s collective cultural memory.
